"If I could give this experience 10 stars, I would! The entire experience was phenomenal. From the hosts greeting us and wishing us happy anniversary, the server Kylee being so welcoming and warm, all the way through the multiple course meal and dessert, everything was amazing. Best service, best food, hands down! I will recommend this restaurant to everyone coming to Galena. Everything there is so detailed, they’ve got an excellent team there. Thank you for making this experience one to remember!"

"I had high expectations for this place based on all the awesome reviews on Google and it did not disappoint. I loved the ambiance and decor of the restaurant, it was warm, cozy and romantic. Their homemade bread, glazed with garlic butter and topped with fresh parmesan was delicious. I ended up getting the meatloaf despite several other options that I really wanted to try. It was very good and the garlic mashed potatoes were fantastic. It was served over a slice of homemade corn bread, all it it was very tasty. The meal was very filling. I absolutely loved this place."

"Absolutely amazing food & service! Vera was an awesome server. Very attentive, funny, great conversation! My medium rare steak was cooked perfectly. Filets can be hard to do, but this one was fantastic. And that bread?! I will be dreaming about it for a while. If you want a great dinner with great service & atmosphere, definitely go to Fried Green."

"We went for our wedding anniversary and commented that in our reservation. The staff wished us a happy anniversary, which meant a lot, as we appreciated the attention to detail. The crab cakes were delicious. Cocktails were and smooth, the steaks were delicious. I had a stuffed mushroom with my steak special and it was fantastic! The service was great and timely. We would definitely recommend!"

"First time visiting and we were highly impressed!! Service was top notch, appetizer of fried green tomatoes was delicious, salad and bread was wonderful. My husband got the famous lasagna, I got the salmon with scallops and the sweet pea polenta….delicious. Tho not hungry for dessert we couldn’t pass up on the tiramisu…it was one of the best I’ve ever had."

"This exceptional restaurant has always been highly recommended, whenever we visit Galena and now we know why! The service was impeccable and our server Vera was a knowledgeable ambassador for the town. The raspberry vinaigrette salad was crisp and the flat Italian bread with Parmesan served with flavored olive oil was wonderful. The lasagna had such a unique and delicious sauce while the lobster ravioli was so delicious. The interior is lovely and everyone so accommodating. Truly worth a visit while in town!"

"Weve heard such amazing things about FGT and seen the atmosphere as we've passed. FGT seemed very inviting even from outside. Once we were led to our table and met our server it became apparent that the staff were essential to the inviting and intimate atmosphere. The drinks were well mixed and not too weak or too strong. The food was incredible, and the server knew just when to swoop in when we needed drinks or plates cleared but not too much where we felt interrupted or anything. My wife and I will definitely be returning to this place to try more of the delicious items on the menu"

"This was our first time in Galena, and this restaurant came highly recommended by our innkeeper. We were able to get a reservation on a busy Friday night, and we were impressed that we were warmly greeted and our anniversary was acknowledged. We were then seated by a fireplace and an anniversary sign was placed on our table, which we thought was a very thoughtful touch. Spencer was our server and did an excellent job taking care of us throughout the evening. We both enjoyed our meals, and we will definitely return the next time we are in Galena."
